House Of Bread and its Haiti Mission and Ministry is sustained financially by its Partners. Partners are God's People who have a heart for The Haitian People and The Lord's Work through House Of Bread and House Of Bread Missionaries.

We always need additional Partners to finance the work in Haiti. Partners have a choice as to how their donations are applied. For example, partners may choose to give to the Orphanage General Fund. This fund finances the operation of the orphanage which includes everything for the children, the Haitian Staff salaries, the orphanage school, medical care for the children, and needs of Missionaries Jim and Gayle Durham.

Partners may choose to sponsor a specific orphanage child within the orphanage. When this is done, the partner also becomes a child sponsor. We then send the partner/sponsor a picture of the child and information about him. Partner/sponsors may target special gifts for their child to celebrate his birthday or to give extra for a Christmas gift. We are careful however to make sure that each child is treated fairly during the Christmas season. The recommended minimum monthly amount per child is $25.00. Many partner/sponsors choose to give more than this and they do which helps to sustain other children in the orphanage.

Partners may choose to designate their gift or donation to a specific need or project that is being carried out by The Mission. These are published from time to time in the House Of Bread Newsletter published monthly and at times bi-monthly. Money designated is spent for exactly what the partner has put in the memo line of their check

Partners may choose to sponsor a child in the Primary School which a joint ministry of House Of Bread and Center Of Discipleship of Haiti. The Center of Discipleship is directed by Pastor Joseph Andre Rigaud. The monthly commitment per child is $22.50. In this case the partner/sponsor receives a picture of their child and a child profile. This information is updated for the partner/sponsor once per year.
